Reflecting on 2015

Hello again!

Thank you so much for all of your patience and for stopping by my blog again 🙂

My poor little blog has been very very neglected for the past few months. But I am writing this post to reflect on the past 12 months and share why I have been so preoccupied with quite a few MASSIVE changes in my life.

I have had the privilege of hearing some of my favourite mentors speak this year; Gabby Bernstein, Marianne Williamson and the late Dr Wayne Dyer. I can’t wait to share more of the wisdom, teachings and tools that I have taken away from these amazing workshops. You can read about my day with Gabby Bernstein and Marianne Williamson here and here.

I also felt the great loss and impact of loosing two of my favourite mentors this year…

Meeting Jess in 2014 at her book tour #makepeacewithyourplate

I was absolutely devastated and shocked when I heard the news that the beautiful Jess Ainscough (aka the Wellness Warrior) had passed away. Jess was one of the first people I started following when I started becoming open to living a healthier and happier life. Jess had such a massive impact on my life and I will be forever grateful to this gorgeous Earth Angel.

1616199_10154576520815620_496217695_nI was heartbroken to hear the news that Dr Wayne Dyer had passed away. Wayne had such a monumental impact on my life and I feel a great emptiness knowing that not only a great teacher, but a great man, has been lost. I have no doubt that his important work will continue to shine its light across all corners of the globe and awaken more and more people long after he has left his physical body. The world is a better place because of his fearlessness, his conviction and his light. I will be forever grateful for the experience of attending his weekend workshop “I AM Light” in Melbourne. I will definitely be sharing the wisdom I took away from that weekend in the new year so stay tuned.

My personal life was also filled with many milestones…

I got admitted as an officer of the Supreme Court of Victoria (aka I’m a real life lawyer now!). I also left my job of three years and got a brand new job.

I also had the best day of my life when I married my soulmate in Hawaii…

and I just got home from an amazing 6 week honeymoon around America and Cancun…

So needless to say I have been a little preoccupied this year! This year has tested me in more ways than one. There has been heartbreak and tears, many a-huh moments, new adventures and ventures, a new chapter and so much love and laughter. But I am super pumped for 2016. I am feeling refreshed, focussed and pretty damn excited. I have so much planned for you all next year but I can’t share it just yet, so stay tuned and make sure you are following me on my social media outlets to keep up to date and hear all my announcements very very soon.

I want to hear from you!

I would love you to share in the comments below any topics you would like to see me cover in the blog.

Choose peace. Choose love. Choose light.
